A Weekend Recap {in Pictures}
Hola amigos!
I have been MIA on all things computer related for the last few days. Luckily, I have a legit excuse: I’ve been suffering from laziness. The last few days have been incredibly relaxing and filled with lots of naps. Here’s a quick recap!
Our Valentines Day was lovely. We spent it at Seasons 52 with some of our favorite friends. Friday was spent watching a movie on the couch followed by an early bedtime.
Saturday we continued our Valentines celebration at a local spa.
I was going to blog all about that goodness on Saturday, but they massaged every thought right out of my head. I was way too relaxed to articulate a sentence. We spent the day getting all kinds of treatments at the spa and also enjoyed eating a delicious lunch in our robes. Seriously – every meal should be eaten in a robe.
That would be “the best margarita ever” (according to Dave), tuna with a fancy wasabi sauce and a caprese flatbread, complete with fresh mozzarella. I could eat that for lunch everyday.
Like I said, after the spa I had big plans to blog all about it, but this happened instead…
It was such a wonderfully relaxing day. We really should win the lottery so we can do stuff like that more often.
Sunday was spent playing at the park…
And hitting golf balls in the back yard…
Golfing is one of Ob’s favorite past times, so long as Tiger Woods isn’t involved.
We went to dinner with my mom on Sunday night, which is always a good time. We shared lots of laughs over appetizers and pizza at California Pizza Kitchen.
Today was spent running errands and playing catch up, since the weekend was clearly unproductive.
That’s about it, friends! You’re all caught up. I promise to not be so lazy this week and continue with your regularly scheduled blogging.
In closing, I want to leave you with what may be the funniest.photo.ever.taken.of.Ob.
We told her some pretty shocking news, which is evident by the look on her face. Hilarious, right?
Okay! Your turn! Fill me in – what did you do this weekend?

"Welcome to Cupcakes n Crunches! I'm Ashley. I have a serious sweet tooth, an addiction to running and an (unhealthy) obsession with my dog. This blog details those things and follows my love for fitness, cooking, family and friends. I believe in treating yourself, so grab a cupcake...or 4...and stay a while."

Such a great weekend ! Jealous of your spa treatments!! And the pizza looks just awesome. I taught at the gym this weekend and spent lots of time with the fam!

I’m just going to go ahead and say it. Your weekend makes me insanely jealous between the spas, pools, and dinner with mom, I’m not sure I can handle it anymore. That being said, I’m glad you had such a fabulous weekend

I absolutely love all of this! We definitely need to bring our robes to Utah. I’m sure we could just wear them during the days. I mean, why not. Side note, your little family is perfect. I wish Nola, Marley and Ob could have play dates!!

Your weekend sounds like the best ever. ‘Every meal should be eaten in a robe.’ I completely agree. And with a margarita in hand :p

Jealous… I want to drink the “best margarita ever”, and eat a yummy seafood dish while being pampered & sitting in a robe!

Gosh I dream about the lotto way to much. I hate how much of life is spent thinking about all the dollars everything costs! Living in a big city is the worst because rent around here is straight up ridiculous. I feel like crying every month when I pay. Ugh. I spent a lot of lounging time and puppy time as well this weekend! I bet Ob and Sasha would be BFF. Ob appears to still have a crap ton of energy and Sasha loves having another dog to chase around!

Glad you got to feeling better and were able to enjoy a clearly amazing V-day.

What did we do here?
Sat: Volunteered with church to clean inner city school.
Sun: Church, grocery shop, laundry, continue potty training.
Wow.
Our weekends are so similar it is uncanny
I’m not bitter (much).
Hold on, did I say there was CRAZY Reese’s consumption?
There…we’re totally equal.
