As your friend, I’m asking you to trust me on this…
You need to add spinach to your next smoothie. It will turn your smoothie a putrid color, but I promise you won’t even taste it. Pinky swear.
Once you add in some frozen fruit and peanut butter, you won’t even realize you’re sipping on something green. Seriously – spinach smoothies are my jam! That’s right; I just said ‘my jam’ & I meant every word. More people should use that turn of phrase.
- Vanilla almond milk
- Handful of spinach
- Spoonful of peanut butter
- Quick cooking oats (I used slightly less than 1/4 of a cup)
- 1 frozen banana
- Handful of frozen strawberries
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Toss all ingredients into a blender and mix.
*Note: I would add your protein last and just lightly pulse it in the blender.
